So, I have been disgusted before but the Administration made me ghastly ill today. Today Joe Biden took his problems with the size of America to a whole new level, using Russia v. Ukraine excuse card to announce what comes off to be a global ban on purchasing Russian-harvested oil. First, what on Earth does Biden have giving him global power such as this broadcast announcement implies? He is there to facilitate United States of America not a global nations united. Second, why waste our own resources when we can import? Biden is throwing mud at a political rival, the President of Russia, and affecting every citizen he represents negatively, and their decedents by spiking fuel prices and moving toward more homeland depletion instead of trade bargains. It is not America’s place, not the President’s place, to sanction foreign nations independent of treaties with our people. It comes off as an advertising gimmick for the US Postal Service when I think about it, a way to further intimidate instead of choosing real war like Russia v. Ukraine. Speaking of advertising, strong undertones on “Ukraine won’t happen to your nation if you buy Stars and Stripes stocks and join NATO!” So now we flip an event we only speculate on without knowing the true story into a global broadcast the turning away America is the true reason of happening. I wanna watch the truth, not propaganda of this manner. Discrediting reality of events and imposing a fiction weakens us as a people, weakens our perception, weakens our reasoning, weakens our unity.
